As a child, my dream was to become a professional soccer player.

Along the way, I faced many barriers. Little by little, I learned to overcome them, but one of the biggest challenges was the lack of guidance. I didn't have someone to help me understand the journey, from how to train and prepare properly to how to understand the game itself.

I also lacked the physical and mental preparation needed to face the challenges of competitive soccer. Those limitations created many difficulties along the way, and ultimately, I couldn't achieve my dream of becoming a professional player.

But the dream never completely disappeared.

When I came to the United States, I began to see it differently. Instead of focusing on the dream I couldn't achieve, I started thinking about how I could help other children with the same dream. I wanted to give them some of the guidance, preparation, encouragement, and opportunities that I wished I had received when I was young.

So, I began studying the game from a different perspective. I researched coaching methods, learned more about player development, and earned my first soccer coaching license. My professional background (I have worked as a professor of Industrial Engineering in my country for more than 10 years) helped a lot!.

For different reasons, it took time before I could put the idea into action. Finally, in July 2025, I was able to take the first real step toward making this dream a reality. Since then, the group has grown little by little. We have faced all kinds of challenges and barriers along the way, but we have continued moving forward.

What started as an idea has become a real program, with real children, real families, and a growing community.

Today, one of my greatest motivations is seeing the happiness of the children and teenagers at every training session…their smiles, their effort, their friendships, and their desire to keep improving. That gives me another reason to continue fighting for this dream.

Because today, this dream is no longer about me becoming a professional soccer player. It is about helping other children have the opportunity to pursue their own dreams—and giving them the guidance, discipline, preparation, and support they need along the way.

My dream changed. The purpose became bigger.

Now, my dream is to help them achieve theirs.
